We're bringing back the classic Marsman shirt in black and white! The white on red sold out ages ago, and people have been asking for this for a while now.
We changed our name into Terzij de Horde almost 15 years ago.
A phrase, taken from one of the most ethereal poems by Hendrik Marsman, but the opening phrase delineates what to expect. Apart from the horde, different from the masses that blindly follow.
A bit trite perhaps, but also a statement of intent that was revolutionary for his time.
We have discussed his dark vitalism often, and even though it has been 15 years, the demand for an aggressive vitalism still reigns true, perhaps now even more than ever.
We have to rage, spit in the face of the powers that be, if we want life to be everything it could be.

Terzij de Horde combine an amalgam of progressive black and doom metal with a rawness reminiscent of extreme hardcore or
chaotic screamo.
Terzij de Horde is Dutch for “athwart the horde”. It is a line from the poem “Einde” (ending) by legendary Dutch poet Hendrik Marsman. Marsman is an inspiration to the band, as are many other authors and philosophers in the same dark vitalistic vein.
